Spring Break

Spring break has come and gone for me. I was off last week and I actually work the week of spring break. I had a good time on my break though. I went to Branson, MO with my family and some friends of ours. We went and saw the show, Lost in the 50's. Very good show!! We rode the ducks and got a really great tour of the city. We swam (indoor pool), relaxed, walked around, shopped, etc. We stayed in the cutest cabin. Gosh I wish I could afford to buy one. I really liked it alot and enjoyed the serene environment. I'm already ready to go back and I've only been back 36 hours.....(c: Well, I am going to go for now b/c I am tired, but I'll try to write more later!

Spring Break

Hello Everyone,
I am really excited. I start my spring break on Tues. March 8th at 7 p.m. (that's what time I get off work) Then, I'm going back to my apartment, grab my doggy, and drive to Fairview, TX. (that's where my parents live) On Wednesday morning, my mom, me, my uncle, his care-taker: Elvis, Sammie and Lindy (twins) are going to Branson, MO for a few days. We'll be back on Monday night because I am working on that Tues. the 15th. My dad is being very sweet by watching, my dog (Kodiak) and their 2 dogs (Sampson & Josephine) and 1 bird (Star). Thanks Dad!!! I am looking forward to a nice relaxing time and just gathering my thoughts about life in general. We might go to a few shows while we're up there, but who knows. We're going to be staying in a cabin, very cool, and I am very excited about that too.

I appreciate all the prayers that have gone up.  Christy is doing better and they have her on some new heart medicine.  She will hopefully be released from the hospital tomorrow sometime.  The baby did move finally yesterday, so, she is doing well.  Again, thank you for the prayers.  If anything changes, I'll send out another e-mail when I can.

My trip to Maryland

I went to Maryland this past weekend and had a great trip. There was snow on the ground which was very cool to see. When my nephew and I were flying into the airport in Philly, there was a blanket of snow everywhere! It was pretty and cold. We first flew into Philly and then got on a little plane from Philly to Salisbury, MD. We arrived in MD at 12:30 a.m. and we were very tired. For my nephew only being 3 1/2 years old, he did a great job and didn't complain once. The reason we arrived so late is because we were stuck in Philly because there was no one there to load the bags. Finally, they got them loaded and we were off for our quick trip of 30 min. from 1 airport to the next. We finally arrived, but guess what..........not our bags. They were left. They finally got delivered to us the next night. (Sat. night) (I was leaving on Sun.) Thank goodness that my brother and I are basically the same size. He gave me PJ's and then jeans the next day. My nephew almost cried b/c he thought that they weren't going to bring our bags and he wouldn't get his Rescue Hero toys. He was SOOOOO happy to see his bag when they got delivered and so was I for that matter. (c: We went to Ocean City on Sat. and had a good time. It was a little chilly, but we got these good french fries from Thrashers. They put vinegar on their FF on the East Coast, so, that's what we had for lunch. Very tasty! I never had thought about FF w/ vinegar until about 5 years ago when my brother moved up there. It sure is good though. Then on Sat. night we went to Ray's Shanty (seafood) and I got a yummy crab cake. They are soo good up there too. I love seafood too, so, I was in heaven! After that, we went home and just hung around the house and watched CSI. Sun. we went to church, ate lunch, got packed, and then my brother took me to the airport to go back to Dallas. I arrived safely into Philly, but then I was an hour late leaving there b/c one of the pilot's seat belts were broken, so, they finally got that fixed and we were off. It was rather bumpy on the way back, but nothing too major. I was glad to be back.
So, that's how my weekend was. Not too eventful besides getting my nephew safely back to MD. My dad was going to take him, but Caleb (my nephew) wanted his KK to take him home. (KK=Kimberly) Yeah, a success story. (c:
Anyways, I will be closing for now.

Prayer Request

Good Morning!  My mom just called me and told me that my brother was on his way to the hospital.  My sister-in-law, who is pregnant, is having heart problems and they have her on medicine to keep her heart beating regularly.  She has been passing out with the medicine because it is dropping her blood pressure down and she is passing out.  I am not sure how many times she has passed out, but quite a few.  Definitely not good for a growing baby.  Christy has not felt the baby kick today, so, please pray for the baby and for Christy.  Hopefully we'll know something soon.  Thank you for your prayers!  I appreciate it.
