Okay, now for the story of this poor buck! Les was out hunting on Sunday morning and he saw this buck run by, but it was too brushy for him to be able to shoot it. Well, a little while later he heard a far off shot and about 2-3 minutes later the same buck runs through again. He has his gun up and about to shoot when all of a sudden; the buck falls over dead. Les left it there for about an hour and stayed in his tree stand. He shot at another buck about an hour later or so, but never found that buck. He asked around and no one claimed to take any shots around 7:30 AM, so he went back in and tagged it, gutted it, and drug it out; which was about 1 mile or so. Needless to say he was glad to have finally got it out of there!
I told Les that even though he didn't shoot it; God still provided for us. We eat on the meat that he shoots normally year round and then buy other meats (chicken, hamburger meat, etc.).
Enjoy the pictures!!!!

You all need to come to Georgia! We had a deer warning out this fall. It seems that there are a lot of deer around here. Dave said he saw in our woods the other day.
That is crazy! Pretty deer! Jay and Thad would be jealous of that shot. ;) Love yall! Take care!
